Norwegian law requires all organisations that generate more than one kilo of hazardous waste per year to surrender the waste to an authorised hazardous waste disposal depot.
SAR conducts continuous research & development to ensure a continual improvement in technology, treatment methods, downstream solutions and measures to upgrade energy utilisation and improve the environmental accounts. Much of the waste can be recycled or recovered to produce energy, but only if it is sorted into the right fractions, properly declared, and handled correctly. Our environmental department has environmental engineers, chemists and HSE consultants who will hold courses and support customers in a quest for the optimal solutions.
The Norwegian authorities have decided to phase out the paper declaration forms during 2016. Avfallsdeklarering.no can be used by waste producers and waste reception facilities to send and receive declarations. By attending “SAR Hazardous waste and Electronic Declaration Course” you and your company will get help with implementation and start up.
The course is ideal for everyone who is involved with waste, in particular environmental supervisors, other HSE personnel, and materials, warehouse and operations personnel. No prior knowledge is required, and candidates will receive a certificate of completion. Click on the link below for more information about course content, timings and booking.
